Stella‘s return to LFW had a complete air of mystery, with only a few selected A lister’s gaining access to her special presentation ahead of her main show at Paris Fashion Week. And I can see why… Glam glam glam evening wear!
My outsider view on the runway:
I’m the first to admit I’m not a fan of Stella’s collections as it’s just far too simple for me. However, I was kind of amped for this collection due to the secrecy surrounding it. Once the A listers were spotted on their way into the private show I was really excited to see it all.
And I was pleasantly surprised at how much I love her new stuff! She used a lot more colour and has played around with shapes but has still stayed true to her sharp and classic signature. I absolutely LOVE the thick gold band on the waistlines of the full length dresses. The range is super elegant and quite frankly don’t need any accessories. The clothes make plenty of statements on their own. The red knit dress is also another fave. THAT AMAZING BELT!
