Montagne Jeunesse Travel Pamper Pack: My Review

2 Oct

Month’s ago the Jeunesse team sent me their new Travel Pamper Pack, but I decided to save its use for when I actually went travelling!

Montagne Jeunesse Travel Pamper Pack

Montagne Jeunesse Travel pamper packThe little cutie comes in a paper ‘booklet’ style pack with perforated edges for ease of use.  I personally think it’s for more than a weeks holiday away as it contains mini packets of:

  • 1 x Passion Peel Off Masque (tried and tested)
  • 1 x Skin Smoother
  • 2 x Body Wash (tried and tested)
  • 1 x Foot Cooler
  • 1 x Intensive Spa Hair Masque

Montagne Jeunesse Travel Pamper Pack
It contains two body washes for obvious reasons, but I kind of wish there were 6 different items.  I failed to trial most of it as I can’t use the hair treatment on my hair, and I found no reason to use the foot cooler or skin smoother whilst away.

This is why I think it’s more for a longer time away.

Orange Bodywash
Can you believe I actually tried a shop bought body wash and tried it with no adverse effects?  I only use Oilatum and selected bits from Lush as my skin is extremely sensitive to chemicals in the shop varieties.  I tried the orange body wash under my arms after a couple of days of using my staples as I got hot and sweaty through the thickness of the stuff I use  So I gave the wash a go and OMG it’s the BEST thing ever for use on a HOT HOT HOT holiday!

It left my arms fresh all day throughout the heat!  I was also able to smell the citrus orange throughout the day, which was a much needed relief!  I was also happy to note it didn’t mess with my strong Mitchum deodorant.  I used it for the rest of the week and it was a proper blessing!  All I need now is to buy this in it’s own bottle for the times I go swimming.

Peel-off masque
I’m not a fan of peel-off’s as I honestly don’t think they work at all!  And unfortunately this one did nothing for me.  I applied and left it to dry and peeled it off, but I didn’t feel like it got rid of the holiday gunk or even moisturise.

I think the pack should have a mini mask instead as tit’s actually get rid of the carp from the sun, sea and sand.

Summary
Overall I like the concept as you can use the pack for more than travelling and I think it’s perfect for taking to the gym due to their mini size.  If they did a mini sachet variety where you couldnt mix and match I think it’d go down a treat and I know I’d buy as I only use half of the normal size ones at a time.  But as with many reviews of this pack I’m sure theres a mixed bag of what people did and didn’t like/use.

As my trip was for a week, I found little use for the smoother and foot cooler, the latter I’d probably just use normally at home.
